Chip Nellinger

Chip draws on over 20 years of experience in the futures industry in helping manage risk for top agricultural producers.  Having grown up on a family grain and hog farm in Central Illinois, Chip understands the business of farming.  He has previously worked on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade helping international commercial grain firms hedge their price risk.  Chip has been a licensed Series 3 commodity broker since 1995, and holds a crop insurance license in the state of Illinois.  Chip can be heard as a regular market analyst on WNAX radio, WILL Radio’s Commodity Week program and Rural Radio 147 on Sirius.   He is also a frequent television guest on U.S. Farm Report, AgDay and RFD TV’s Market Day Report. Chip holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University. He resides in Dunlap, IL with his wife and 3 sons.  A ten year cancer survivor, Chip serves on the board of the Illinois CancerCare Foundation in Peoria and enjoys fishing, boating and diving.
